Services we offer
Prevention
Prevention is key to dental and oral health, and it is recommended to have professional teeth cleanings and dental checkups twice a year. This procedure removes plaque and tartar and prevents the development of cavities and periodontitis. It is especially important for pregnant women, diabetics, people on immunosuppressive therapy and patients with orthodontic braces.
Professional teeth cleaning includes the removal of plaque and pigmentation, tooth polishing and fluoridation to strengthen the enamel. The procedure is usually painless, but in sensitive patients, anesthesia can be used for complete comfort. Regular checkups can detect problems in a timely manner and prevent more serious complications.
Restorative
Restorative dentistry deals with the restoration of damaged hard dental tissues caused by caries, trauma or abrasion. This branch of dental medicine involves the production of aesthetic composite fillings that adapt to the natural color and shape of the tooth. Restoration also includes the removal of discoloration and fluoridation of teeth, which is especially useful for younger patients.
Composite aesthetic fillings are quickly made, long-lasting, biocompatible and adhesively bonded to the tooth, ensuring strength and a natural appearance. Treatment of caries is carried out by removing the affected tissue and placing a composite filling that restores the functionality and aesthetics of the tooth.
Endodontics
Endodontics is a specialized branch of dentistry that deals with the treatment of dental pulp and root canals. The goal of endodontics is to preserve the natural tooth and prevent its loss. This therapy includes the diagnosis and treatment of pain, non-surgical root canal treatment, and revision of previously failed therapies.
Symptoms that indicate the need for endodontic treatment are throbbing pain, pain on biting, sensitivity to heat, swelling in the oral cavity, or the appearance of a fistula. Treatment is carried out by removing inflamed or infected pulp, cleaning, and filling the canals. Machine-assisted endodontics allows for faster and more precise processing of root canals, resulting in shorter procedure times and less discomfort for the patient.
Periodontology
Periodontology is the branch of dentistry that deals with the health of the supporting tissues of the teeth, including the gums, periodontal ligament, and bone. Periodontal diseases such as gingivitis and periodontitis can cause gum recession and bone loss. Early detection and treatment of these diseases is essential for maintaining oral health.
Treatment of periodontitis includes plaque removal, root canal treatment, and the use of antiseptics and antibiotics. In advanced cases, surgical therapy is used that involves bone regeneration. Regular check-ups, scaling, and proper oral hygiene help maintain periodontal health.
Gingivitis
Gingivitis is an inflammation of the gums caused by plaque buildup due to inadequate oral hygiene. Symptoms include redness, swelling, and bleeding when brushing your teeth. Treatment of gingivitis includes professional teeth cleaning and patient education on proper oral hygiene. Timely treatment of gingivitis prevents the development of more serious periodontal diseases.
Periodontitis
Periodontitis is a bacterial infection that causes bone loss around the teeth and the formation of periodontal pockets. The disease can occur as a result of untreated gingivitis or certain systemic diseases such as diabetes. Treatment of periodontitis includes root canal treatment, plaque removal, and the use of antiseptics and antibiotics. Surgical treatment may be necessary in advanced cases.
**Scaling and Sandblasting**
Scaling and sandblasting remove tartar, plaque, and pigmentation from the surface of the teeth, improving the aesthetics of the smile and the health of the teeth. This painless procedure is most often performed without anesthesia, but local anesthesia can be used in sensitive patients. The smooth surface of the teeth after polishing makes it difficult for new tartar to accumulate.
**Curethration**
Curethration is a procedure to remove plaque below the gum level to treat periodontal pockets. It is performed under local anesthesia and involves scaling and polishing the tooth roots. Therapy is necessary for patients with pockets deeper than 5 mm, and proper oral hygiene and regular check-ups are key to the success of the treatment.
Pediatric dentistry
Pediatric dentistry is dedicated to the oral health of children, with a special emphasis on education and creating positive experiences. The goal is to eliminate fear of the dentist and reduce the risk of cavities through regular check-ups and teeth cleaning. Services include repairing baby teeth, sealing fissures, and fluoridation. The approach is child-friendly, and the pleasant atmosphere helps to establish trust.
Emergencies
Emergencies include acute toothache, swelling of the oral cavity, dental injuries, heavy postoperative bleeding, and temporomandibular joint trauma. We provide emergency care to patients during business hours, and by appointment outside of business hours. In the event of an emergency, it is recommended to contact the office immediately to ensure the necessary care is provided as soon as possible.
Dental prosthetics
Prosthetics includes the creation of fixed and removable prosthetic restorations that restore the functionality and aesthetics of a smile. Depending on the patient's needs, prosthetic work is divided into fixed and removable restorations.
Fixed prosthetics
1. Crowns
Crowns are permanent restorations that cover a damaged or aesthetically inadequate tooth, restoring its functionality and appearance. They are used for teeth weakened by caries, after endodontic treatment or to correct aesthetic imperfections.
- **Zirconium-ceramic crowns**: Made of zirconium, they are known for their strength, resistance and natural appearance. Thanks to their color similar to natural teeth, they are ideal for front teeth. Due to their high biocompatibility, they prevent the formation of a dark edge along the gum.
- **Metal-ceramic crowns**: A metal base covered with ceramic ensures strength and durability. Often used for back teeth because it withstands greater chewing forces.
- **Glass-ceramic crowns**: Offer the highest level of aesthetics because they completely imitate the natural appearance of the tooth. They are used mainly on front teeth, where aesthetics are of key importance.
2. Bridges
Bridges replace one or more lost teeth. They consist of interconnected crowns that are fixed to adjacent teeth or implants. The bridge can be made of zirconia ceramic, metal-ceramic or monolithic zirconia, depending on the aesthetic and functional requirements of the patient.
3. Inlay / Onlay / Overlay
These restorations represent an alternative to classic fillings. They are made of ceramic and are cemented to the tooth, providing greater strength and resistance.
- **Inlay**: Covers the inner part of the tooth.
- **Onlay**: Covers most of the tooth, including the chewing surfaces.
- **Overlay**: Covers the entire surface of the tooth.
4. Veneers
Veneers are thin prosthetic restorations made of glass ceramics, and are used to correct the shape, size, color or position of the front teeth. The minimally invasive procedure requires little grinding, and the end result is an aesthetically perfect smile. Patients themselves participate in choosing the color and shape of the veneers so that the smile is completely customized to their wishes.
Mobile prosthetics
1. Complete dentures
Complete dentures are used when the patient does not have any natural teeth in the jaw. They are made of an acrylic base and artificial teeth. The lower denture covers the bottom of the jaw, while the upper one covers the palate. These dentures allow for normal chewing, speech, and restore the aesthetics of the smile.
2. Partial dentures
Partial dentures are used when the patient has remaining natural teeth. The denture is held to the natural teeth using clips or attachments (invisible clasps), which ensures better stability and functionality. The metal base provides strength, while the pink acrylic imitates natural gums.
3. Implant-supported dentures
These dentures provide stability because they are attached to implanted implants, which is an ideal solution for patients who are not satisfied with the functionality of classic complete dentures. Implants provide a solid anchor for the denture, and the patient can easily remove and clean the denture. Typically, two implants are placed in the lower jaw and four in the upper jaw, providing optimal stability and function.
Prosthetics are essential for replacing missing teeth, improving the aesthetics and functionality of your smile. Our expert team will advise you on the most appropriate solution for your needs, whether it is fixed or removable restorations.
Orthodontics
Orthodontic therapy corrects the position of teeth to improve the function and aesthetics of the smile. It is used to address problems such as protruding, receding, rotated or spaced teeth, and gaps left by tooth extractions. In addition to the aesthetic benefits, orthodontic therapy makes it easier to maintain oral hygiene and prevents cavities in hard-to-reach places.
The course of therapy includes a smile analysis, impression taking, digital planning, delivery of braces, and regular check-ups. Also offered is **Clear Aligner**, a transparent brace that is discreet, comfortable, and makes it easier to maintain oral hygiene because it can be easily removed during eating and brushing. Each aligner moves teeth according to a precisely defined plan, providing predictable results. At the end of therapy, patients receive a retainer to maintain the new position of the teeth.
Oral surgery
Oral surgery encompasses a wide range of surgical procedures, including tooth extraction, wisdom tooth extraction, apicotomy, cyst removal, bone grafting, and implant placement. The goal is to ensure a painless procedure with minimal discomfort and a quick recovery.
Tooth extraction
Tooth extraction is the most common oral surgical procedure, and is performed when a tooth is too damaged by caries, trauma, or irreversible inflammation. The procedure is painless thanks to local anesthesia, and recovery is controlled with painkillers. It is recommended to follow wound care instructions to speed recovery and avoid complications.
Alveotomy
Alveotomy is the surgical removal of a wisdom tooth that has not fully erupted. The procedure involves removing the surrounding bone so that the tooth can be extracted. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia, and recovery takes several days with pain control with pills.
Apicoectomy
Apicotomy is the surgical removal of the tip of the root of the tooth in order to remove the inflammatory lesion. The goal is to preserve the tooth and prevent the inflammation from returning. The procedure takes about half an hour, and recovery is quick, usually within 3-5 days.
Dental implants
Dental implants are a permanent solution for replacing lost teeth because they look and function like natural teeth. Implants provide aesthetic and functional restoration of a smile without sacrificing neighboring teeth. They can be used to replace a single tooth, multiple teeth, or an entire jaw.
Implant placement begins with a clinical examination and analysis of a CBCT scan for precise planning. The implant, made of titanium, is placed in the bone where it serves as a replacement for the tooth root. After the osseointegration phase (3-6 months), a suprastructure (abutment) and a prosthetic replacement such as a crown, bridge, or denture are placed. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and is completely painless.
Types of implant-supported prosthetics include single crowns, bridges, implant-supported dentures, and All-on-4 and All-on-6 systems, which allow for complete jaw reconstruction. Maintaining oral hygiene is key to the longevity of implants. Regular brushing, flossing, and irrigating are recommended, as well as check-ups every 6 months. All implants we place are made of high-quality titanium, are biocompatible, do not cause allergies, and provide predictable results. With proper hygiene and regular check-ups, dental implants can last a lifetime.
Postoperative instructions
After surgery, it is recommended to rest, avoid hot foods, alcohol and smoking. The wound should be kept clean and cooled with external dressings for the first 24 hours. In case of severe pain, bleeding or fever, it is recommended to contact the office immediately.
